$...\Leftrightarrow \frac{3}{2}(x-1)^7 - \frac{1}{2}(x+1)^7=0$
$\Leftrightarrow 3(x-1)^7 = (x+1)^7\Leftrightarrow \sqrt[7]{3}(x-1) = x+1\Leftrightarrow x=\frac{1+\sqrt[7]{3}}{\sqrt[7]{3}-1}$.
