Discovery is a child’s privilege. I mean the small child, the child who is not afraid to be wrong, to look silly, to not be serious, and to act differently from everyone else. He is also not afraid that the things he is interested in are in bad taste or turn out to be different from his expectations, from what they should be, or rather he is not afraid of what they actually are. He ignores the silent and flawless consensus that is part of the air we breathe – the consensus of all the people who are, or are reputed to be, reasonable.

Chứng minh nếu $p,q$ nguyên tố và $r=\dfrac{p^2 + q^2}{p+q}$ nguyên thì $r$ nguyên tố.
(Brazil MO - 2008)
Giải như sau:
Viết lại đề $r=\dfrac{p^2+q^2}{p+q}$
Vì $r$ nguyên tố suy ra $p^2+q^2$ chia hết cho $p+q$ <1>
Ta thấy $p^2-q^2=(p-q)(p+q)$ chia hết cho $p+q$ <2>
Từ <1> và <2> suy ra $2q^2$ chia hết cho $p+q$
Do vậy đặt $2q^2=(p+q)k$ với $k$ tự nhiên)
Nên $2q^2=pk+qk$ ta thấy $2q^2$ chia hết cho $q$ suy ra $pk$ chia hết cho $q$
Th1: $p$ chia hết cho $q$ suy ra $p=q$ nên $r=p=q$ nguyên tố $đpcm$
Th2: $k$ chia hết cho $q$ (ta có điều này sở dĩ $q$ nguyên tố nên nó ko có tích của số nào nữa)
Ta thấy $k<2q$ vì nếu $k\geq 2q$ thì $2q^2\geq (p+q)(2q)=2pq+2q^2$ vô lý do $2pq>0$
Do vậy $k<2q$ lại có $k$ chia hết cho $q$ suy ra $k=q$ suy ra $2q^2=(p+q)q=pq+q^2 \rightarrow q^2=pq \rightarrow p=q$
Do đó cũng có $r=p=q$ là nguyên tố $đpcm$
Tóm lại bài toán được giải hoàn toàn

Cách khác:
$p^{2}+q^{2}\vdots p+q=>(p+q)^{2}-2pq\vdots p+q=>2pq\vdots p+q$
$p\geq 2,q\geq 2=>p+q> 2=>(2,p+q)=1=>pq\vdots p+q$
$=>p+q\epsilon U (pq)$
Mà $p$,$q$ là số nguyên tố
$=>U(pq)\epsilon \left \{ 1,p,q,pq \right.$
$p+q> p,q,1=>p+q=pq<=>(p-1)(q-1)=1<=>p=q=r=2$
