wonderful world

05-04-2008 - 23:59

Lyrics

Don't know much about history
Don't know much biology
Don't know much about a science book
Don't know much about the French I took

But I do know that I love you
And I know that if you love me too
What a wonderful world this would be

Don't know much about geography
Don't know much trigonometry
Don't know much about algebra
Don't know what a slide rule is for.

But I do know that one and one is two,
And if this one could be with you,
What a wonderful world this would be.

Now i don't claim to be an "A" student,
But I'm trying to be.
So maybe by being an "A" student baby
I can win your love for me.

Don't know much about history
Don't know much biology
Don't know much about a science book
Don't know much about the French I took.

But I do know that I love you,
And I know that if you love me too,
What a wonderful world this would be.

Latatatatatatahuwaah (history)
Oehwoewoe (biology)
Latatatatatatahuwaah (science book)
Oehwoewoe (French I took)

But I do know that I love you,
And I know that if you love me too,
What a wonderful world this would be.

Trường toán về Tự đẳng cấu đa thức

02-10-2006 - 08:49

"Dear Friends,

Here some spectacular news:after his construction of a counterexample to the
Homogeneous Dependence problem in [1] Michiel de Bondt has now
constructed a counterexample to the Jacobian Conjecture in dimension 91 !!

His construction makes use of our reduction of the JC to the symmetric
case (in [2])
and the follow-up paper [3] by Wenhua Zhao , which reduces the problem
to a vanishing problem for the Laplace Operator.
To attack this Laplace operator formulation of the JC, he uses the
reduction to prime characteristic techniques, as exploited in the papers
[4] by Tsuchimoto, respectively [5] by Belov and Kontsevich,
respectively [6] by Adjamagbo and van den Essen. More precisely
he uses methods from P-adic Analysis in a clever way.

As a result he shows the existence of a counterexample in dimension 91 !!

His paper entitled: Laplace Inverse Reduction and P-adic Analysis 1: a
counterexample to the Jacobian Conjecture,

will appear on the ArXiv within a week.
